I have always felt there is a whole world that completely escapes us all at some point. We are constantly surrounded by noise - so much is there begging for our attention. And yet most of what makes up our lives, what makes everything work, sits quietly working away. How trees interact, watching a shadow lay across a sidewalk, the rhythm of the houses lining the street - all of this seems so familiar and so banal, but all of it is alive, and all of it is ours. We don’t have to travel to find something exciting or interesting; in fact we don’t even have to move.
